Once, below 10% HP, it detonates for 33% of the enemy's max HP and drops itself to 1 HP. Phase 2 and Grit can still answer a lethal blast. Going out with a bang, on purpose.
Landing a hit on an enemy already under 15% HP ends the battle right there — a KO, never a death roll — and against a foe that low the strike can't be dodged. One exception: a fighter holding an unspent Phase 2 isn't ended, it's FORCED into its second phase. No prolonged goodbyes.
