Community Guidelines

These guidelines apply to drawings, fighter and item names, character briefs, creator-written dialogue, lore, uploaded music, profiles, comments, community posts, published Towns and scenes, and drawing guides. Drawn to Battle is a creative game for people aged 13 and over. Keep competition inside the game and treat the person behind another drawing with respect.

Useful feedback talks about a design or a game mechanic. “I could not tell which shape was the shield” is useful. Insulting the artist or encouraging others to target them is not. You can disagree without making the community hostile.

• Sexual content, nudity, sexual exploitation, or any sexualization of minors.
• Hate speech or symbols, extremist recruitment or praise, and attacks on people based on protected characteristics.
• Threats, bullying, targeted harassment, impersonation, or encouragement of real-world violence or self-harm.
• Graphic gore, cruelty, or depictions intended to shock. Stylized fictional combat belongs in the game; graphic injury and celebration of real suffering do not.
• Private information about yourself or someone else, including home addresses, phone numbers, passwords, or private messages posted without permission.
• Scams, malicious links, spam, or instructions designed to steal accounts or disrupt the site.

A prohibited message is still prohibited if it is hidden in a drawing, name, music title, or generated-character prompt. Generated output is not an excuse to keep or share content that violates these rules.

Submit original work or material you have the necessary rights to use. Do not trace or directly copy another player’s artwork and claim it as your own. Drawing a familiar copyrighted character or uploading notes from someone else’s composition can raise rights issues even when you recreated it yourself.

Give credit where appropriate, but remember that attribution alone does not replace permission. Game-supported equipment replicas and sharing features do not grant a blanket right to reuse artwork outside the game. Our Copyright Policy explains ownership and reporting.

Do not bypass creation limits, manipulate likes or leaderboards, abuse alternate accounts, interfere with payments, or exploit bugs against other players. If something seems broken, report it privately so it can be investigated.

On the community board, keep posts relevant to your creations, the game, or constructive discussion. Avoid repeated promotions, duplicate posts, misleading links, and requests for other people’s account credentials. Do not organize mass reports against someone because of a disagreement.

Fighter moderation relies on community reports and human decisions. Equipment submission can include automated content checks. Moderators can review reports and restrict or remove content using the site’s moderation tools.

The Public Content Policy explains unlisting and hard removal. An unlisted fighter leaves discovery and multiplayer play but may remain accessible through a direct link and owner-only solo play. Unlisting is not a privacy setting. Reporter identities are not shown to drawing owners, and account suspension is a separate manual decision.

Public comments and community posts can be reported after publication; we do not claim that every contribution is manually reviewed before it appears. A report creates a reason to review content, not an automatic finding that the author did something wrong.

We may reject a submission, hide or remove content, restrict a feature, or suspend an account. Serious abuse or repeated violations can lead to stronger restrictions. Automated systems and human decisions can both make mistakes, so there is an appeal route.

Use the Report control on a drawing, post, or comment where available. You can also email hello@drawntobattle.com with the exact URL, the reason for the report, and relevant context. Do not repost harmful material just to draw attention to it.

If your contribution was restricted in error, email hello@drawntobattle.com. Include its link or identifier, a description of the decision, and why you believe it should be reconsidered. Do not evade the restriction while waiting for a review.

Send copyright complaints through the copyright process and requests to remove personal data through the privacy process. These guidelines work alongside the Terms of Use.
